The Travis Effect

One of my favorite things that's come out of Taylor's relationship with Travis is how open she is being with him. Every time she is photographed with him, they are hand in hand, his arm is around her, and they are smiling and they look in love and happy. I believe their relationship is real because the way they look at each other cannot be faked.

I'm still super stoked about when she brought Travis on stage with her. As I mentioned in last week's Taylor blog, she has never brought another significant other on stage like that.

Taylor recently won a VMA for Video of the Year, and she thanked HER BOYFRIEND TRAVIS. Again, never once has she done that before.

There is clearly something different about Travis for Taylor that allows her to feel like she can be a normal person in a relationship. She doesn't feel the need to hide away in her apartment and houses like she has in the past.

I'm honestly impressed that after only over a year or so that they have been so public with their relationship. They have been from the start, which to me means that that is priority number one for Tay when she is starting a new relationship. She hid herself away with Joe because he wasn't used to the paparazzi coverage, and look where that got her.

If you listen really close to her more recent music, Joe really did a number on her and her mentality towards dating. That might be why it makes me so much happier to see her with Travis.

Obviously I am not in her inner circle and I have no idea what they are like behind closed doors, but from the outside they seem like they have so much fun together, and they truly enjoy spending time with each other. Not only that, they are so supportive of each other's careers, and make the time to show their support. Travis flew all over the world for her tour,

Taylor has flown to numerous cities to watch him play, and even went to the AFC Championship & Super Bowl for him.

It's just really cool to see her be so free in a relationship. It seems like they have no rules for each other like it has been implied in her other relationships. They just wholly accept each other.

I have been a fan of Taylor since I was 11 years old, and have seen every relationship she has allowed the media and fans to witness. This one is my favorite because of how happy she is, how proud of her he is, and the music is so great to be honest.
